During the corridor renovation of the Lehrte – Berlin line, train services on the Fallersleben – Berlin-Spandau section will be suspended from 2 October to 12 December 2026. The following regional rail services in Saxony-Anhalt and Brandenburg are affected:

RE 6 / RB 36*

Route	Wolfsburg – Magdeburg
Changes	In the section Wolfsburg – Oebisfelde, replacement buses will operate all day on Saturdays and Sundays. From Monday to Friday, normal train service operates.

Changes	Service is cancelled daily between Stendal and Berlin-Spandau.
Alternatives	For passengers travelling between Stendal and Berlin with a destination in Berlin, the following travel options are available: Train connections S1/RB33 and ICE/RE8 via Wittenberge. Express bus X1 Stendal – Genthin, with onward connection in Genthin to/from RE1 towards Berlin. (Takes longer): Use the X4 bus connection via Rathenow to Nauen.
